In the line:
"Together, we can grow a pleep", pleep was in fact a typo, but amused us so we kept it in the song.
lyrics
We're travelling across the ocean,
Into the setting sun.
We're going through the motions,
Of all the work we've done.
The ocean shining brightly,
Will help me find.
Love and tranquility,
The peace within my mind.
We will find our new home,
Deep within our souls.
All the midnight waters,
Replenish our goals.
And in our new home,
We will hope to gain,
A lifeline of wonder,
Just the two of us, again.
And in our new home,
There will be endless time,
For us to make the most of,
Before we fall in line.
And whatever you ask for,
Will be fine with me,
We share a love,
For all to see.
We will find our new home,
Deep within our souls.
All the midnight waters,
Replenish our goals.
And in our new home,
We will hope to gain,
A lifeline of wonder,
Just the two of us, again.
This is our chance, to be free.
Away from all the heartache and misery.
Together, we can grow a 'pleep',
I don't know what it is, but it sounds good to me.
We will find our new home,
Deep within our souls.
All the midnight waters,
Replenish our goals.
And in our new home,
We will hope to gain,
A lifeline of wonder,
Just the two of us, again.
Not normally a fan of neo prog, but this gives off such a solid feel without sacrificing any creativity. The programs used to produce the synths/drums sound incredibly authentic, despite being done entirely by one person Lewis Morphett
I don't often write Bandcamp recommendation. But here I have to make an exception. "Ghosts" is simply a terrific album that should appeal to prog, indie, pop and rock fans alike. Wonderful catchy melodies with lots of good ideas and great instrumentation. I love everything about this record, from the first to the last note. Andreas Blohm
It’s a match made in heaven: Juliana Hatfield tackles the classic ELO catalog on a road that leads to power pop bliss. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 18, 2023
You know that thing where you come across an album that just ticks all of the boxes? This is one of those albums for me. It's so chock-full of ideas that it should be all over the place yet somehow comes out as one cohesive whole. It's heavy, it's poppy, it's complex, it has a great concept and every. single. melody. is so catchy you'll be humming/singing along from start to finish. Genuinely my Album of the Year 2022. randalator
